Gijs De Corte (Ghent, 19 June 1999) is a Belgian actor. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Acting from the Amsterdam University of the Arts (ATKA) in 2021.

On stage, Gijs has performed in productions such as ‘Onze Kersentuin‘ with Karavaan and Makershuis Alkmaar, ‘Liegebeesten‘ with Theater Sonnevanck, and ‘Jonges‘ with Tryater.

He is best known for his roles as Hugo in the dystopian VRT series ‘Arcadia‘ and Tanguy Leroy in the courtroom drama ‘Assisen: The Insulin Murder‘. He also appeared in television series such as ‘Bathroom Stories‘, ‘Otis‘, ‘Single Bells‘, ‘Flikken: Maastricht‘ and many more. In 2025, Gijs starred as Boris in the Streamz Original series ‘Oh, Otto!‘, which received the Student Award and Best Short Form Series Award at the critically acclaimed Canneseries festival.
