Gijs De Corte (Ghent, 19 June 1999) is a Belgian actor trained at the Amsterdam University of the Arts (ATKA).
He is best known for his television roles as Hugo in the dystopian series ‘Arcadia’ (VRT1), Tanguy Leroy in ‘Assisen: De Insulinemoord’ (Play4) and Boris in the award-winning ‘Oh, Otto!’ (Streamz). Additional screen credits include ‘Single Bells’, ‘Otis’, ‘Dansaertvlamingen’ and ‘Bathroom Stories’.
His theatre work spans productions such as ‘Onze Kersentuin’ (Karavaan/Makershuis Alkmaar), ‘Liegebeesten’ (Theater Sonnevanck) and ‘Jonges’ (Tryater).
In 2026, he will appear on stage as Hector Berlioz in ‘De Fantastische Symfonie’ (Antwerp Symphony Orchestra) and as Donald in ‘The Boys in the Band’ (InTeam).
